Crazy Quilt
As a child, my grandma used to assemble beautiful quilt blocks out of the scraps leftover from the shirts, pajamas, and other clothing my mother sewed for us. "Crazy quilts" were what we called the characteristic hodge-podge of colors and patterns that my grandma created. As a child, I thought it was always fun to spot the material from my own clothes skillfully incorporated into these lovely tapestries. It's still a fond memory today.
