|| Ancient Art
Although fairly common throughout the desert Southwest, the meaning of most rock art is mostly unknown. It's a record of humanity without a key for translation. Regardless of how we interpret it, though, it still speaks of our creative spirit. The technology has changed, but the desire to depict the world symbolically remains the same. Would these ancient artists be amazed that their creations have survived centuries? Will we create anything that will similarly endure?
