Inside the Rainbow |

- All nature photographers know it—those times when we're out taking pictures when everything comes together just right. The landscape, the light, the colors and the perception all coincide. These are the moments inside the rainbow, when we find ourselves somewhere we didn't expect to be, a place we didn't know we could enter. What we're looking at is exactly what we are looking for, though it's not just the scenery. What is happening in front of the lens is only half the story. Something deep inside is also being illuminated. Somehow this moment, this light, this scene offers the possibility of knowing ourselves in a way that is extraordinarily unique but at the same time comfortably familiar. We savor the light and the experience, hoping our image will show others where we have been . . . and how it looks from the inside.
