Silver puff flowers (Uropappus lindleyi) are related to dandelions, which are regarded as weeds in many parts of the country. Silver puffs are much less common in the Sonoran desert. Their large seed ball heads are attractive and relatively easy to photograph, so they're a welcome addition to the native landscape.
