The major waterfalls in Zion National Park are ephemeral at best. While I have traveled to this park dozens of time, I have only been privileged to see them once. It was late October, and the leaves in the canyon were starting to turn. On my second morning in the park it rained hard for over two hours. When it stopped, there was water crashing into the canyon everywhere, flowing over the canyon's rim and down its ravines. This image was taken along the trail to Weeping Rock.
